I started out just writing about Jackson restaurants, and then included a few others ‘just a bit further down the road’. To be fair, I must also include The Margarita Grill & Cantina as well, because now I’ve reviewed everything else and this is the only one left! As the name implies, The Margarita Grill is a Mexican restaurant, with the emphasis on the word ‘Margarita’! I say this because the many ‘odd’ times that I’ve driven by, the parking lot has been packed, but because of the hour, I am sure that it was for the pub not just the food. They’ve always done a swift bar business whenever we’ve been there. The restaurant is located in Glen on Route 302 (make a right at the light past Story Land; it’s ½ mile on the right). Their menu includes a variety of steaks, ribs and fish entrees, with specialty salads and Mexican classics. They serve homemade soups as well as vegetarian items, and also lunch on weekends. Lunch includes standard sandwich items like paninis and soup. A children’s menu is available. In warm weather you can eat on the patio.

Getting to the Margarita Grill is only a few minute drive away. You make a right out of the Lodge parking lot. Go 2.5 miles to the light in Glen. Make a right onto Route 302 North and go about half a mile. The Margarita Grill is located on your right.
